It was a brilliant f*cking show. I saw part of the second band and all of Devotchka and was very entertained, moved, and impressed.
I caught the full effect of one of your earlier rants regarding the chatterboxes at shows. Very annoying hearing people drone on about work and sh*t -- and actually crescendoing along with the music -- right next to you at a show like this. I mean, the Halo Bar is just a few paces away. If they want to run their mouths while the artist is performing, why can't they have some f*cking class and move their party into the bar where they can chat away without bothering anyone? Alcohol, I guess. Loud mouth soup, indeed.
Thanks for the video. I didn't even recognize it live, and I love the original song. Takes me back a couple of decades! Gorgeous, yes.
