Videos: Blur Plays First Reunion Gig Over the Weekend

Let's just all give in to the fact that the '90s are back. Urban Outfitters is again selling flowered Doc Martens. Dinosaur Jr's upcoming new LP, Farm, is pretty g-damn fantastic. And a Britpop totem finally set aside its differences and reunited as a quartet over the weekend: Blur. The act is playing a bunch of festivals overseas this summer, and played an intimate gig for under 200 people in Colchester, England. Thanks to Pitchfork for pointing out these high-quality videos on YouTube. Everybody now! Girls! Boys! Girls! Boys!

I'd just like to point out that the currently-touring-and-recording incarnation of Dinosaur Jr (their "classic lineup" if you will) never played together in the 1990s. (Pushes glasses up nose)

Hah hah I know'd what ya meant, I was just razzin' ya Dinosaur-Jr-nerd-style. I'll be snaggin' that bad boy come June 23rd. I think HAND IT OVER, which was decidedly released in the 1990s (March 1997), was the last Dinosaur Jr album I got on its release date...of course, that was only two albums ago.
