Hip-Hop Journalism’s OG
This Saturday the University of Missouri-St Louis hosts a “hip-hop journalism” workshop for kids ages twelve through seventeen.
Lest you think hip-hop journalism is some kind of “new media,” know that Ted Danson (a.k.a. Sam Malone) of Cheers fame was rapping the news as far back as the late 1980s.
