Missouri freshman senator Claire McCaskill has made numerous national headlines lately for supporting fellow U.S. senator Barack Obama for president, rather than a fellow *female* senator.
Last night, Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert, host of The Colbert Report, took a cheerful McCaskill to task for her choice.
