Donnybrook Discusses RFT, Patty Wente
I’ve finally arrived! Last week the local media titans on Donnybrook deemed my story on KWMU’s Patty Wente worthy enough to merit discussion.
Martin see. Martin do. Martin talks KWMU. The rhetoric begins at the 13-minute mark of the June 5 telecast and continues for several minutes. Perhaps, I’m too close to the subject, but what the hell was Wendy Wiese talking about when she blamed ''the blogosphere'' for Wente’s firing last week?
Thanks to KMOX’s Charlie Brennan and St. Louis Post-Dispatch columnist Bill McClellan for giving me props on my reporting. Even erstwhile Riverfront Times publisher Ray Hartmann acknowledged that ''my old paper did a pretty good job with this.'' I’ll take that as praise as well.
