Lori Drew Moving From Waterford Crystal Drive

Eleven months ago the RFT published "Broken Lives On Waterford Crystal Drive" about the Internet backlash directed at Lori Drew, the now-infamous woman who allegedly drove Megan Meier, her teenage neighbor, to suicide by sending her messages from a fake MySpace account.

Megan Meier
At the time, Brant Walker, the creator of rottenneighbor.com, bragged that because the Drews had been branded as bad neighbors on his Web site, the family would be targeted by vigilantes long after they left their home on Waterford Crystal Drive in Dardenne Prairie.

Now it appears the time as come to put Walker’s site to the test: The Drew family has reportedly sold their home for $229,000 and has plans to move.

Shockingly, Drew would not tell a Post-Dispatch reporter where she was headed.

Flee as she may, however, Lori Drew is still dealing with a trial that begins in October in Los Angeles stemming from a federal indictment for illegally accessing MySpace and "inflicting emotional distress on a child."

Not to mention legions of outraged people in cyberspace with access to sites like Rotten Neighbor.
