Word has it there's a strange odor hovering over St. Louis. As a colleague living near Tower Grove Park tells me, "The smell is extremely fecal." (I wouldn't know. My neighborhood located along the beautiful River Des Peres always smells like diaper fill.)
But don't worry folks, local authorities have now determined that this new mysterious stench is not dangerous and will soon dissipate. Until then, here's some Lynyrd Skynyrd to help get you through the fog. The southern rawkers have been singing about a strange smell for decades.
