Happy birthday today to Yakov Smirnoff, Russian-born comedian and the unofficial tour guide of Branson, Missouri when the RFT ventured to the "geezer Shangri-La" in the summer of 2007.

Since giving RFT writer Chad Garrison a tour of Branson, Smirnoff has started other projects, including a talk show which, judging from the video above, he apparently has in the works. And Yakov's no slouch when it comes to the latest technology, clearly. One can keep up with the comic via his Twitter feed. 

Smirnoff is 58 today. After the jump is a photo of Smirnoff in his second-home, Branson, Missouri.
