McCaskill: "I'm home from work. Time to focus."
Hats off to Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill, who shows us again that she's one of us, "our Claire" even, this time via Twitter:
One thing though, now that McCaskill's home from "work" (a.k.a. the U.S. Capitol), only now is she going to focus? The devotion to college basketball for alumni is especially strong, but that "tweet" might seem a little off to some.
But that's a little unfair. After all, the economic stimulus bill took a step toward passage this afternoon when the Senate voted to close debate on the bill. It goes for final approval Tuesday. It's something McCaskill, an early supporter of President Barack Obama during his campaign, and the Democrats have been working to get passed.
McCaskill also has been making a lot of noise in Washington as of late, including calling Wall Street execs idiots. Video after the jump.
