• SO an attempt to fire up a staff losing market share makes you guys laugh? Look, content runs everything, and content is created from people. You create staff excitement within, which creates exciting content. Obviously the push online is affecting things, but dont discredit good writers with ability to create content.

• I am so sick of RFT's immature sneering at the misfortunes of the Post-Dispatch, and from the editor-in-chief, no less! It wouldn't be so obnoxious if the RFT's own post-buyout reporting were any better (hint: stop trying so hard to court the male 18-24 demographic and ACTUALLY COVER NON-SYNDICATED SUBSTANCE). For what it's worth, I've noticed that the RFT has gotten awfully slim these days too.

• Teeth? So the P-D readers are old? That's the best you can do? At least they are willing to pay. You know, I see Garrison whining all the time about what the Post does or doesn't do. (Wah! The PD covered a story that someone else once covered. Plagiarism! Where's our credit? Etc. Go back to journalism school, dude.) What has he written lately? Or anyone? It seems like only one story in the last month has been staff-written. You had a vet story set in Canada, an article-length ad that someone had written for their book, what else? Sad.

• Did you know...Only one out of every 20 Post-Dispatch readers can DEFINE the word moxie?
