Police charged a 17-year-old with first-degree murder for the death of Antonio Calvin whose body was found in a Florissant creek on Sunday. A second suspect was charged yesterday with second-degree murder charges in Calvin's slaying.
Metro is asking the state for $35 million in emergency, stopgap funding to help alleviate projected cuts. Beginning April 1 the cash-strapped transit agency will drastically reduce its bus and MetroLink service and layoff hundreds of workers.
