Highland, a tiny town about 30 miles east of Edwardsville on I-70, turned into Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas circa 1997 earlier this month:
A Highland man bit off part of the ear of another man, according to police.
Madison County prosecutors on Tuesday charged Brendon C. Delaney, 25, with aggravated battery. He's accused of biting off part of the ear of Chad M. Moss on May 2.
Additional details were not available Tuesday from Highland police.
The charge is a class 3 felony, carrying a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
Five years?! All Tyson got for munching on Evander Holyfield's lobes was a disqualification and a hearty does of infamy.
