Last week, three men were gunned down shortly after leaving a concert at the nightclub at 325 S. 21st Street.
Hours after the triple homicide, St. Louis Public Safety Director Charles Bryson closed the club for an invalid occupancy permit. As KSDK Channel 5 reports, police have responded to dozens of calls to the club in the past two years.
Burlison, who also served under Nixon during his stint as attorney general, says he's worked with the club owners to control events.
