Jacobs, of the 3700 block of Lee in north St. Louis, is charged with the shooting death last summer of his neighbor Carl Sharp, 26, after the two men got into an argument over a fast-food order.

Sharp reportedly purchased three cheeseburgers for Jacob from a neighborhood Rally's Drive-In at 12:30 a.m. on August 28. Jacobs, however, had ordered just two cheeseburgers.

According to reports from last summer, Jacobs, Sharp and a third individual got into a heated exchange over the three hamburgers before deciding to eat one each.

A short time later, Jacobs is accused of riding his bicycle over to Sharp and shooting him three times. Sharp, reported as being a married father of two children, died at the scene.

Jacobs was apprehended the night of the murder and has spent much of the past year at the Juvenile Justice Center. This Monday he was certified as an adult and is being held on a $500,000 cash bond.
