Okay, so that headline ain't exactly a direct quote. But it's more or less what Cassandra (a.k.a. Cassidy) Harris is saying in a video apology to St. Louis police officer Michael Haman.
Haman sued Harris last year after she filed a false report claiming Haman was acting naughty while working as a security guard at Johnny Gitto's restaurant. Haman's lawsuit is thought to be the first time a city cop has sued someone for filing a false complaint against an officer.
The case settled last week with Harris making this video apology to Haman.
Lesson learned from all this? I dunno. Perhaps it's this: Don't make false allegations against a cop unless you want to see a groveling video of yourself on YouTube.
