Whad' Ya Know? Local NPR Affiliate, KWMU, To No Longer Broadcast Michael Feldman

• Sorry Michael was taken off-it was a very entertaining show!Big programming error from my listening view point!

• OK, some of Michael's political gags missed the mark, but at least he knew it and made fun of himself....every "remote" he did was packed...I'm gonna miss him....and cut my donations to KWMU.

• For years I nevber listened to NPR. Then someone told me about "Car Talk" I listened and loved it! Then I found myself staying tuned in for "What d'ya know" I ended up loving it even more than the car guys. It was insightful, educational, and has a very cool jazz band. Why would you guys pull it? Could it perhaps have been because it wasn't as reflective of conservative views? Whatever the reason, I have replaced 90.7 FM with another station and am no longer a listener or supporter. What a crying shame.

• Wow what a shame. I've been a fan of his show since I discovered the local NPR station ten years ago. Guess I'll have to rely on the podcast from now on. I'd like to know what has happened to my beloved RFT. Its been a while since I read it, but back in the day it was a source of hard hitting, liberal minded investigation. Now more and more when I check in, it seems to have turned into sarcastic opinion and nothing more. And I'm just getting over mourning the trash that KMOX turned into over the past decade.

• I've listened to Feldman on and off for 12 years, and for the last year he's really grated on me. I'm sort of relieved that I won't have to dodge the radio at 9am anymore -- at least on Saturdays. Speaking of Faith is still a huge drag on my Sunday mornings.

• Does the reviewer have any sense of what is funny? WDYK was and is VERY FUNNY. I will keep up with it via podcasts or finding another NPR station that streams the show. Tim Eby needs to get an infusion of what people enjoy!

• Feldman wasn't even getting his in-house audience to laugh with his crass and asinine attempts at political humor. I'm glad he's gone but I hope something "good" goes in his place. @Dave, I agree more tolerable than mouth-breather Garrison (isn't there a surgery for that?) but @momily CarTalk insufferable? No way!

• WDYK was great -- it was an updated version of Groucho's You Bet Your Life.

• Tony: "funnier than Chad" appears to be a low hurdle. Alas, Feldman's show was one of the few I listened to on a regular basis. Others' mileage may vary, but from my point of view, KWMU's programming has been going downhill for quite a while now, so this is at least consistent.

• Why don't they get rid of the insufferable car guys, or that idiot woman with the table. Or any other of the lame ass 'comedy' shows.

• feldman is funnier than you, chad....

• Actually, the station is REMOVING a repeat of Prairie Home Companion on Sunday afternoon. The show will only be broadcast once -- the live feed at 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

• This article is pretty snarky, even for Chad. I didn't know he's now the RFT's comedy critic. Feldman may not be God's gift to comedy, but he's made me laugh more than Chad's pompous, self-righteous writing has.

• I guess they need more room to repeat Prairie Home Companion another time.

• Far more tolerable than Garrison Keillor or Zorba Pastor.

• the lame news: they are just going to repeat the hour of news in the morning, which pushes back the entire schedule. the good news: �Fresh Air Weekend� will be added in the 3:00 p.m. � 4:00 p.m. time slot.
