• Hmmm, seems the Vick dogs did pretty well with all but a couple being placed into homes. Surely not all of them were bait-dogs. The truth is they are dogs. Plain and simple. Dogs trained to do a terrible thing. The great thing about a dog so willing to please it will fight to the death for it's owner? • While I really feel sorry for the poor animals, but it is true. Who wants to adopt a pitbull that has lived its life bred to fight? Not that it's the animals fault, it is the fault of various individuals who raised them that way.

• Hopefully some of these dogs can be rehabilitated...I know the bait dogs have a better chance than the fighters to exist in a home environment... I think I saw on the news that the HS is looking for donations of sheets blankets and other things you probably have extras of...
