Why Make Fun of Francis Slay When His Staff Does Such a Bang-Up Job of It?

The altered photo was meant to poke fun at the St. Louis mayor and his (mostly) ridiculous "mini-polls" that his staff dispatches from City Hall every few weeks. In March, the mayor asked, "What exactly makes a great spring break?"
And while Slay suggested that a local-service project might be a nice alternative to drunken nights at Senor Frog's, we liked to imagine the mayor participating in the latter.

As impressed as we were with the relative gravitas of the this week's poll, we were even more impressed with the doctored picture of Slay (right) that accompanied the survey.
Someone in the Mayor's office has Photoshop talents that clearly trumps our own. And, we must admit, the "Fred Rogers Meets Francis Slay" motif is probably a much more accurate depiction of Slay than the wet-and-wild spring breaker.
Got your own altered pic of Slay you'd like to share? Attach a link to it in the Comments thread below or add it to the RFT flickr pool. We'd love to see it.
