The Cougs Are Cummin' to Town!

So much has transpired out in the jungle, as it were, since Unreal penned our seminal work on women gettin' their jollies off by usin' and losin' younger dudes.  

You know, cougars.

Carnival is rolling out an International Cougar Cruise.

A California singles group hosted the first  National Singles Cougar Convention in Palo Alto.

No fewer than 20,347 titles appear when you type "cougar" into Amazon's search function. 

And now Courteney Cox is starring in a new network television comedrama called Cougar Town.

Now 45 years old, Cox falls plum into the cougar demographic. She plays a Florida divorcee and real estate agent named Jules Cobb.

The real ad campaign for Cougar Town features faux real estate ads.

Call her 1-800 number (1-877-520-5255) and you'll get a little more than MLS listings. (Unreal would've made the ads a little more 1-900, personally.) 

Liberal web sites have their granny-panties in a bunch over the concept, but some television critics are lapping up the early episodes. The Washington Post's Hank Stuever says in today's paper that the show "may be the most deliciously profane network show ever made."
