Move over Jerry Jones. Sorry, Al Davis. We bid you farewell, Bill Bidwill. The NFL soon could have a new most-hated owner.

Ladies and gentlemen, through that cloud of pomp, pollution and hubris we present you Rush Limbaugh.

Today the right-wing radio host confirmed that he and St. Louis Blues owner Dave Checketts are putting together an ownership group to try to purchase the Rams.

I have been a Rams fan since 1975, when I first started really watching football. Through thick and thin, I've supported them. We've had our glory days as the Greatest Show on Turf and now the worst stretch in memory over the past 2 1/2 years. If Rush Limbaugh gets any kind of control over the Rams, there is NO WAY I can support the team. Rush Limbaugh represents all that is wrong with America and I will not be associated in any way with that idiot.
Obviously, the guy (Chad) who is blogging this rant against Limbaugh hasn�t a clue to why it makes sense. If the Checketts Team acquires the Rams, they will have to keep it in St. Louis due to NHL rules on owning other professional franchises. The other parties bidding on the team won�t be held to this rule. Who really gives a crap if Limbaugh owns a minority of the Rams? He won�t be making the decisions for the team anyway. Furthermore, Gloria Estefan is part owner of the Miami Dolphins and I haven�t read anything about her requiring the �her team� to have the Miami Sound Machine to jam during half time. Limbaugh is an entertainer of the right week�.big deal. Bitching about him only validates that he�s under your skin, just where he wants to be.
