Certified Sex Therapist Dr. Darcy Luadzers Tackles a Tricky Texting Tangle

Daily RFT recently came into possession of Certified Sex Therapist and University of South Carolina Gamecock Dr. Darcy Luadzers' Virgin Sex for Guys and Virgin Sex for Girls. Rather than let Dr. Darcy's work go to waste, we're answering your questions with her verbatim advice!

Today's question:
Dear Dr. Darcy,

My husband often has to travel for his work. I never minded before. He's very successful at what he does -- you'd definitely recognize his name -- and since I married him, I've been able to live the sort of lifestyle that most people can only dream of.

Recently, however, I found a flirtatious text message from another woman on his cell phone. He swears that nothing's going on -- that it's just a silly message from one of his (many) fans. Should I be suspicious?

Texting Is Giving Evil Results
Dr. Darcy's answer, after the jump...

Dear TIGER,

If you've heard that he's got out of town girlfriends, he does. If he goes out of town a lot, then you hear he's got a girlfriend there, he does. If you confront him about it and he says, "No, that's in the past; we're not like that anymore," he's probably lying. "Once a playa, always a playa."
