• That's good news if he is donating the fine money to charity. Imagine how many unemployed people would respect a $30,000 check, that means nothing to him. Since when has "not killing people" become the standard for decency? Does he (or do you) realize that sombreros and ponchos are traditionally associated with Mexican culture, yet there are a multitude of Spanish-speaking countries with unique forms of dress, food, music, etc.? Perhaps Ochocinco assumes that all Hispanics are from Mexico? Imagine if a Latino or white football player changed his name to Zimbabwe and then, to celebrate a touchdown, he donned a zebra-print gown, a necklace of tiger teeth, and stuck a bone through his nose... Would you surmise that action would not offend anyone? By the way, "hes" is not a word. The contraction for "he is" is spelled with an apostrophe (as "he's").

• I feel that Chad Ochocinco is great football player who is just trying to have a little fun. He is not hurting anyone with his silly shenanigans and he is absolutely harmless. You have to give him a lot of credit for coming up with some of these ideas. He's not getting into any trouble and he make us laugh so leave him alone. If he wants to pay the fines and donate money to charity then it's all going to a worthwhile cause. Let him do what he does best and just enjoy watching him and the Bengals play some great football this year!! GO BENGALS!!

When the loudmouthed, over-ranked Cincinnati Bengals' Chad Ochocinco legally changed his name, he got it wrong. Eighty-five, in Spanish, is written "ochenta y cinco" (three words, no capital letters). What he changed his name to translates literally to "Chad Eight Five" which was not his intent. In his constant attempts to draw attention to himself, and his number eighty-five, he ends up looking like an uneducated fool. Sombreros off to the NFL for fining him $30,000 for his antics last Sunday against the Lions. Either play the game with respect or join a circus.
