Congratulations to Winner of Daily RFT's John Tesh Ticket Giveaway

​Earlier this week Daily RFT offered up a dozen tickets to Saturday's concert at the Family Arena, Christmas with John Tesh.

Winner of the tickets would be the reader who most convincingly shared with us how Tesh would make their holiday wishes come true.

And while a couple readers wrote in to expressively voice their distaste for the contemporary Christian crooner ("Do. NOT.WANT." was our favorite of those responses), a few people actually feigned some interest in Tesh.

So it is that we've selected the person who seemed most excited about the concert.

That person is Betty McDermott, 25, of south county who wrote:

Oh me me me! Please I want them! It will be a hilarious time! My friends and I shall take a load of pictures and laugh our way through to the New Year!! We promise not to drive home drunk either... we'll get a hotel room, duh! We shall use our time in the hotel room to reminisce and upload our pictures!

Informed today that she was the winner, McDermott responded, "For sure!" and then inquired about the dress policy for Saturday's show. Formal or business casual?

We suggest Christmas sweaters; the more hideous the better.
