News from the Far Right: Taitz Tells Patriots to Take Up Arms; Davis Might Run for Senate
1) First, the always-responsible Dr. Orly Taitz -- a California attorney who believes President Obama is not really a U.S. citizen -- posted a literal call to arms yesterday. Her message? The time for peaceful negotiations with the lefties in power has ended:
What is the real intention of this Kenyan, Indonesian communist usurper [Obama]?...Seeing targeted destruction of our economy, our security, dissipation of American jobs, massive corruption in the Government, Congress Department of Justice and Judiciary, it might be time to start rallies and protests using our second amendment right to bear arms and organise in militias. Our eyebrows raised after seeing Taitz's name over on Fired Up Missouri, for it was she who helped file a lawsuit last summer on behalf of Tim Jones (R-Eureka) and Cynthia Davis (R-O'Fallon) challenging the president's legal status. The suit was later dismissed. Apropos of Davis, by the way...
|Rep. Cynthia Davis|
Here's Dave Drebes from Arch City Chronicle:
Davis has garnered some national attention for her far-right sentiments and her ranting and riffing constituent dispatches which feed the liberal blogs with knee-slappers. In the Teapublican environment, her right-side campaign is not entirely preposterous. Yet, against the saner, better funded incumbent with a record of legislative achievements, she is probably looking at 25% on the August ballot.
