I, for one, do not consider myself a Christian. However, I was raised in a Baptist church and have attended churches of numerous denominations as well. If there is one thing that I learned from all of my religious experiences, it is that God doesn't hate.

These people disgust me in the worst way. They take something that many, many people hold as a guide to life and take from it what they want so that they can spread their hatred. In a world where so many people are lost and in need of love, hatred like this is the complete opposite of what we need.

God loves. I among MANY others would really appreciate if you and others who hold the same views as you do kept it to yourselves and not ostracize other people based on their decisions and their actions. The simple concept of minding your own business would probably be most effective. If God loves, shouldn't you too? Not only that, but who are you to choose who is damned to Hell and who isn't? Brother Phelps, I understand what you are trying to do; but you must realize that our God loves everyone according to His Word. No, He does not like their sin and it stinks in His nostrils. We as Christians need to realize, that it is our place to love folks and hate sin of any kind; therefore it would be better to attack their sin (what they are doing) and no the person.
