Anheuser-Busch Sends 350,000 Cans of Water To Haiti.

• hey does anyone remember the old comercial they ran for the relief effort, the two old guys talking about how AB shut down the facility and starting canning water for them to drink?

• I'm an AB employee(a very lowly employee I might add), and I can tell you we would be thrilled if someone thought enough of our relief effort to keep a souvenir as a reminder of it. I understand what Georgie is saying, but keep in mind we donate millions of cans of water whenever there is a disaster, and one can is likely not going to make a difference. Also, when you're in a situation, such as the flood described, you have no idea how much water you will need before basic services are restored, so it's only natural to keep a few extra for backup. I don't think it is right to auction off these souvenirs, however. It would be very bad if people started collecting these only to make a profit in the future.

• It was a flood for fu*ks sake! There was plenty of water to be found! And yes, definitely put that can up on ebay. I'll buy it for $75!

• I'll buy that can from you. Throw it up on craigslist and we will make it happen. I'm thinking around $50 if it actually says 1993 on the bottom.

Nope. you drove your Hummer from your mansion to a flood zone, ski masked in the middle of the night, and ripped the can from a sleeping baby. Only possible explanation.

• Your memory serves? Is 'your memory' a quick Google search? AB does this regularly. Local, regional, national disasters. It just doesn't generate lots of press each time.

• You still have one of those cans of water? So basically you stole products donated to relieve those impacted by a disaster?

• They also did this during the flood of 1993. I still have one of those cans of water.

• Just an FYI - AB did this during the blackout in July 2007. I was working with the Red Cross at one of the cooling shelters and AB definitely came through.
