Anheuser-Busch Sends 350,000 Cans of Water To Haiti.

As the brewer has done in the past when there's been a natural disaster and clean water is hard to come by, they ship in drinking water in what looks like plain white beer cans. As memory serves, last time they did this was after Hurricane Katrina.
The St. Louis Business Journal reports:
The day after the magnitude 7 quake hit last week, the company's AmBev business in Latin America immediately shipped nearly 350,000 cans of fresh drinking water from a brewery it operates in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, about 160 miles from Port-au-Prince.The company is also matching employee donations to the Red Cross up to $300,000.
The Anheuser-Busch brewery in Cartersville, Ga., is working with the American Red Cross to ship another 600,000 cans of water.
One has to wonder, even though clean water is now a precious commodity in Port-au-Prince, is there any chance that the Haitians would actually prefer a few thousand cans of Budweiser? Lord knows they could probably use a drink after all they've been through.
