The S.S. Admiral a.k.a. President Casino
As expected, the Missouri Gaming Commission this afternoon voted unanimously to strip the gaming license to the President Casino in downtown St. Louis.

The commission voted 4-0 to revoke the license despite strong objections from St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay who argues that the loss of the casino will greatly reduce city finances.

The gaming commission wants to open up the boat's gambling license -- currently held by Pinnacle Entertainment -- to other bidders.

The vote likely signals the demise of the S.S. Admiral -- the aging 103-year-old converted steamboat that houses the casino.
