Club Casino Fined $1,000, Liquor License Suspended After Fatal Shooting
Illinois State Police are still investigating the deadly incident, in which 22-year-old Brandon Jenkins was shot in the chest after a fight on the club's dance floor at around 3 a.m. on Saturday.

Shortly after the hearing, Illinois State Police agents standing on the grounds at Cub Casino, located at 6800 State St. Some were wearing bulletproof vests.Casino's surveillance system was not working when the shooting occurred. Taylor reportedly said it had been broken for nearly three weeks. Taylor is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the capture of the shooter.
At 4:58 p.m., club owner Cedric Taylor arrived at the business, unlocked the doors and about six agents followed him into the building. At 5:12 p.m., the first agent came out carrying a black notebook in his hand. At 5:25, the remaining agents came out of the business with Taylor behind them. They did not bring anything out of the business.
Parks also fined Riff's, the scene of an unrelated non-fatal shooting on Saturday, $100 and suspended the club's liquor license for 30 days. The shooting at Riff's reportedly occurred on the sidewalk outside the club.
