The bill now heads to the Senate. Speaking on KMOX this morning Missouri Congressman Todd Akin (D - Town & Country) said: "If a foreign power did what Congress did to America last night, we would be at war right now."

In Missouri, only three reps voted in favor of the bill. Six voted no. Here's the final tally:

Lacy Clay (D) - Yes
Emanuel Cleaver (D) - Yes
Jo Ann Emerson (R) - No
Sam Graves (R) - No
Blaine Luetkemeyer (R) - No
Ike Skelton (D) - No

In Illinois, 12 congressmen voted in support of the bill, while just seven voted no.

In southwestern Illinois, Jerry Costello (D) supported the bill. John Shimkus (R) did not.
