Police in St. Louis and the metro east are on the lookout for Lason R. Elliott, 20, of St. Louis.
Elliott is accused of murdering Martin "Marty" Lampe of Maplewood in an early-morning carjacking last week in Sauget.
The vehicle stolen in the carjacking -- a 2002 Chevy Impala -- was found abandoned Friday in St. Louis without its 22-inch custom rims.
The Major Case Squad issued warrants against Elliott yesterday. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is encouraged to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS.
