Republicans Trounce Democrats in Number of Missouri Candidate Filings

​Yesterday was the deadline to file for state or federal office in Missouri.

All told, some 303 Republicans filed for office compared to just 223 Democrats.

Libertarians accounted for another 28 filings and the Constitution Party fields 27 candidates.
