Texting while pedaling would still be permitted in Missouri.
The Missouri Senate yesterday unanimously approved a bill that outlaws texting while driving for all motorists in the state.

Last summer state legislators approved a similar law that applies only for drivers under the age of 21.

The bill that passed the Senate yesterday is now headed to the House. If approved by state reps, the texting would be illegal for all drivers.

The ban is attached to a license plate bill sponsored by state rep Ryan McKenna (D - Jefferson County).
