Hey, Uncle Sam, Missourah Goes All Constitutional On Your Ass!

​The Missouri House of Representatives today endorsed a proposed constitutional amendment to invoke the 10th Amendment right here in the fine Show-Me State.

When it comes to hate crimes, abortion, gun control, same-sex marriage, health-care reform, church 'n state, home-schooling -- yes, there's more -- and cap-and-trade, Jeff City lawmakers reckon the feds ain't got a say.

State sovereignty, baby.

House Joint Resolution 88 cruised through a preliminary vote today (90 in favor, 69 opposed), and will get another run on the House floor (date not yet scheduled) before going to the Missouri State Senate.

If it were to pass there, voters would get to say yay or nay on November's Election Day.
