Jimmy Thomas, St. Louis Homicide No. 34; Shot Outside Home in North City

Thirty-four-year-old Jimmy Thomas was outside his residence in the 2600 block of N. 14th Street (below) last night when he was shot dead, possibly in a drive-by.

St. Louis police report that Thomas was stuck in the stomach and head and pronounced dead on the scene. Witnesses say they saw a car speeding away from the scene around 11 p.m.  An investigation is ongoing.
