Timothy Broadway: Babysitter Accused of Raping 12-Year-Old in His Care

According to county police, Broadway has babysat the girl since July of last year. Police began an investigation March 16 when an area hospital contacted authorities after treating the girl. Police report that Broadway would babysit the victim and other children at his residence and other locations in St. Louis County and allege that the sexual assaults occurred at more than one location. The parents of the girl transported her to the hospital.
Broadway is being held on a $500,000 cash only bond on two charges of statutory rape in the first degree, three counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
St. Louis County Police are asking that anyone who believes they or someone they know may have been a victim of the sexual crime by Timothy Broadway to call 314-889-2341.
