BODIES Exhibit Coming to Galleria; 'Cause Nothing Spurs Shopping Like Sliced Corpses!

Apparently the Galleria can't get enough of naked bodies -- be they wrapped in "barrels" or injected with plastic and splayed out in curious poses.

The latter of which will be on display at the mall this coming October when the Galleria plays host to BODIES The Exhibition. (Not to be confused with Body Worlds, a rival exhibit of preserved human corpses that had its St. Louis debut back in 2007 at the Science Center.)

So, why host BODIES at a shopping mall? Because empirical evidence shows that de-skinned corpses trigger a spending impulse in shoppers. Duh!

Okay, I just made that up.

Actually, who cares why it's coming to the Galleria. Let's just hope that they install part of the exhibit in the mall's food court -- right next to the sushi vendor. It could make for a hell'uva parallel.
