Felton D. Smith: St. Louis Homicide No. 56; Stabbed to Death Allegedly By His Son

St. Louis police say they've arrested the 40-year-old son of Felton D. Smith, on suspicion that he stabbed his dad early this morning.
The stabbing occurred around 12:30 a.m. today in the 200 block of North 9th Street. The 67-year-old Felton was pronounced dead at the scene.
His son was on hand at his father's hotel apartment on 9th Street and taken into custody. His name will be released when/if prosecutors file charges.
