LA Times Visits Hannibal Twice, Says "Twainiacs" Will Soon Be Converging In Force

Now the time has come, and it's due out in November. Which means ramped up tourism for Hannibal this summer, spurred along by the travel sections of East and West Coast newspapers that are powerless to resist a good centennial.
The LA Times for example, has run two different stories on Hannibal this month. (One came out a couple weeks ago in their special summer travel issue, and another ran yesterday).
For Missourians who've long since visited Twain's boyhood home, there's not much to learn in these articles, except perhaps the term "Twainiacs," which refers to rabid devotees of the great man of letters, and not, as urbandictionary.com suggests, fans of Shania Twain. Although there might be some overlap there.
