Nebraska Announces Move to Big 10 as Mizzou Tries to Save Face

Meanwhile, University of Missouri officials were holding their second day of meetings today trying to figure out what to do about their status in the rapidly diminishing Big 12 North. Yesterday, fellow Big 12 North school University of Colorado decided to depart the conference for the PAC-10.
Just a few weeks ago University of Missouri was rumored to be a shoo-in to joining the Big Ten. Then yesterday a Mizzou curator confirmed that the school had not received an invite to join what's seen as a better academic and athletic conference.
