Pageant Going Smoke Free July 1

The Pageant announced yesterday that it would go smoke-free July 1 -- six months before a city-wide smoking ban goes into effect.
Club owner Joe Edwards says the change comes following requests from some 80 percent of visiting bands that prefer playing smoke-free shows. The move has spawned a heated debate on the nightclub's facebook site.
