South County Shooting Spree Leads to Three Arrests in Metro East

The man was transported to a local hospital where his injuries were reported as non-life-threatening. The victim said he did not know the suspects.
Minutes later police received another call of a shooting near Baumgartner and Telegraph Road. There officers discovered a 23-year-old man shot while walking down the street in an apparent robbery attempt. The victim said he also did not know the suspects.
The suspects were described as black males, in their early 20s, all occupying a four-door vehicle. Their description was broadcast on police radio to authorities in other jurisdictions. After a chase through parts of Jefferson County the suspects crossed the Jefferson Barracks Bridge into Illinois where they were successfully pulled over and arrested.
