And the nominees...
1. Lori Pellin: The woman who left her pets -- all 27 of them (25 cats and two dogs) -- locked in her Chevy Lumina on a 90-plus degree day while she went to gamble at Ameristar Casino.
2. Tony La Russa: The Cardinals manager upset lefties this week when he made comments at Tea Party Night at Busch Stadium in support of the right-wing group and Arizona's immigration laws. (And no, TLR was not woken up in an intersection just prior to making the remarks.)
3. Mary Wild: The Arnold woman who was sentenced this week to probation and ordered to write a 750-word essay for killing seven dogs that she left overnight in a hot van in June 2009.
4. Nigaila Gibbs: The alleged St. Louis prostitute was charged this week with practicing her trade knowing she had HIV. At least two of her former customers have since tested posted for HIV.
