Sports Staff Quits Globe-Democrat

According to the wire service, staff at the online paper have not been paid since May 15.
Daily RFT left a message with the Globe-Democrat this afternoon for comment. We'll let you know when/if we hear from them.
Here is a link to the a post we did last October when publisher Dan Rositano announced he was bringing the old St. Louis daily -- which folded in 1986 -- back to life as an online paper.
Back then, Rositano dismissed our suggestion that perhaps now wasn't the best time to launch a media venture.
