​A month's worth of incessantly buzzing vuvuzelas and ready-made excuses for early-morning drinking came to an unforgettable end yesterday afternoon when Spain, the pre-tournament favorites, defeated the Netherlands 1-0 on Andrés Iniesta's extra time goal.
