Complaint Against State Rep. Brian Nieves Is Long on Details

• I dont know any of these people personnally but was asked by a friend to read this and I did. This story sounds a bit far fetched. First flag for me was this Mr. Nieves guy cursing before asking him if he was wearing a wire. LOL ...and it got funnier and funnier as it went. I would guess that Mr. Bell has and incredible immagination. It's too sad that politics has come to resemble 5th grand child like behavior. If I had to go by this report alone I would guess that Bell is trying to pull the wool over a lot of people by utilizing some far fetched idea and that Nieves is probably a man that is down to earth may have useda comment or two that is allowing this Bell guy to TRY to manipulate any audiance. I'm jus sayin.... I'm glad I live in Florida. :-/

• Although I think Nieves is a douche, Bells' written police report does raise some red flags in my mind. Sometimes when people lie, they will go overboard including small details to make the story more plausible. For instance, Nieves calling his wife on the cordless white (not cell) phone. I don't know that the color of the phone is pertinent because if it really happened, does it matter what color the phone was? Maybe Bell is just a detail-oriented person. But, retuning for sunglasses? That seems a bit far-fetched given what had just transpired. If I wanted them THAT bad I would have gone to the cop shop and gotten as escort back to make sure there wasn't a round II. I don't know. Maybe Bell is as unstable as Nieves. Something just sounds a little off in the written report. And, there is little evidence to file charges against Nieves. Even in a civil case, there doesn't appear to be anything that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt this incident ever happened. If anything, it's in Brian's favor because it happened on his turf and he has a "witness" on his behalf. Yep, think it's just gonna get swept quietly under the carpet......

• I spoke my mind in my previous comment. Read the police report and decide for yourself. Like I said, if you still think it's made up, your a dumb ass. It's not like it matters, he should get charged for this but if he doesn't because of who he is, he will still be screwed in the civil case.

• Michael Green: ever hear of innocent until proven guilty? How can you commend Bell for "telling the truth"? Were you there?

• I think that only Brian's idiotic supporters would still read that police report and say that it's a lie. I wish the police would just charge him already. It's quite obvious that something happened in that office. This article is right on. Why would anyone write that stuff about themselves. I'm not sure what I would have done in this scenario having a gun pointed at me but I definitely commend Bell for telling the truth on the whole thing.
