Jerry Cole: St. Louis Homicide No. 73; Police Suspect Drug Deal Gone Bad

Twenty-two-year-old Jerry Cole, of the 5400 block of Lindenwood in south St. Louis was on the northside last night when he was shot and killed around 7:40 p.m.

Police say that Cole parked his car in the 4200 block of Harris (above) and walked toward a green Pontiac Bonneville.

As Cole approached the vehicle he was shot multiple times in the chest, neck and arms and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Police believe the killing to be drug related. An investigation is ongoing with the three suspects in the Pontiac describes as "three black males."
