• The Tea Party and libertarian movement are very different. The libertarians are notorious for not doing grassroots organizing or raising any money, but instead spend a lot of time arguing amongst themselves purifying their Ayn Rand doctrine. Hence their ineffectiveness. Once in a while Libertarians do get pissed off at their own ineffectiveness and do something that has real effect. • You don't hear the media talk about the libertarian movement all the time like they do the tea party folks. How long does the tea party have to get about the same results as the libertarian movement (about nothing) before the media realize it's not really a big deal to give hours of free coverage to? The truth is, the tea party and libertarian movements are almost he exact same people with the exact same influence (about none).
