Old Man Responds to Attacker in Crestwood: "I'm 71 Years Old, And I'll Put His Lights Out"
According to reports, the woman had just returned home from feeding a neighbor's cat around 1:15 p.m. when she was confronted by a man inquiring about doing household chores. The man then produced a gun and ordered the woman inside her house. That's where the suspect -- described as a white male in his 40s -- ransacked the home and beat the lady. She sustained a broken ankle in the melee.
The attacker, meanwhile, has earned the ire of the victim's ex-husband, Paul Hediger, who tells KTVI: "When people do stuff like that, I'm very angry. I'd like to get ahold of this person and let me tell you something, I'm 71 years old and I will put his lights out."
