Passengers who use Amtrak's Lincoln Service departing from St. Louis to Chicago will be ferried by bus to Springfield before boarding the northbound train during multiple weeks from now until November.
Passengers who use the train's Texas Eagle line -- that runs from San Antonio to Chicago by way of St. Louis -- could also find themselves on a bus during part of their trip.
