Dennis Arnold: St. Louis Resident Found Dead in Backyard Pool

A man who stepped outside his home last night to smoke a cigarette was found drowned in his backyard pool around 9:45 p.m. St. Louis police report that witnesses found the 59-year-old victim face down in the water after he failed to come back inside the home in the 2000 block of Virginia. Police are currently considering his death an "accidental drowning" with no obvious signs of trauma.
The body is now at the city's medical examiner's office, which tells Daily RFT that the victim has been identified as Dennis Arnold, a white male who lived at the home on Virginia. He was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Louis University Hospital.
